Eye shapes
So I have been trying to figure out what type of eye shape I have because this is supposed to help in figuring out what application styles will look good on me. Not that I wouldn't be trying everything I can think of on myself anyways, but it does bother be that I can't seem to figure this one out, which leads me to believe that I am not a "true" anything. I know that I am not a true almond shape, but I'm not wide-set, big eyed, or anything very distinctive. My eyes don't droop at the outer corners or the inner lines for that matter. I just don't think that I really fit any of the categories. When I was a miamaid, one of my advisors was a Marykay lady. I loved her, she was great! I can remember one activity where she taught us about make-up and different eye shapes(this was my first introduction to eye shapes and differing ways to apply make-up based on that shape). During this evening I was told that I have hooded eyes, and have believed this for quite sometime. However, after looking more and more at people with "hooded eyes" I have come to believe that my eyes don't exactly fit into that category. There is some hooding, but not really enough to qualify and "hooded eyes" in my mind. Alas, just one more set of molds that I don't fit quite nicely into. But really I should be taking this as a good thing because then that means that I can probably get away with a lot more variety of make-up looks than someone whose eyes' do fall nicely into one category or the other. So, yeah for me! What do you all think about your eye shape? Do you fall into a category or are you more like me where you're not really one thing or another but more of a combination? What are your favorite tips for your eyes when applying make-up? Have a wonderful day and keep on playing!
